Only 10 mA for a color display ?

Developers of flat and highly compact mobile devices are regularly faced with the challenge of integrating a modern display that is not only colorful, but also energy-saving so as not to put additional strain on the battery and achieve long operating times overall.
The latest EA TFT024-23 color display is specially designed for such mobile applications and offers an outstanding combination of energy efficiency and color brilliance. With a size of 2.4 inches, 18-bit color depth and an excellent resolution of 240x320 pixels, it delivers razor-sharp and informative images thanks to its color scheme. Thanks to special polarizers and the latest low-power technology, power consumption is significantly reduced to just 30 mW. This significantly extends the battery life of measuring devices, wearables and other portable equipment. The new display is also characterized by its flat yet robust design of just 3 mm. It is also perfectly legible even in direct sunlight, even without lighting.

Thanks to its compact dimensions of 43 x 84 x 3 mm and a pin-saving SPI interface, it can be easily integrated into a wide range of mobile devices. Even small 8- and 16-bit microcontrollers are suitable for controlling it. Application examples including a test board for the Raspberry Pi Zero are available. The display is designed for 3.3 V systems and can also be LED-illuminated with up to 60 mA.
