Everything is possible - almost. Although not all specifications can be implemented without further ado, there is a solution for the vast majority of requirements. Here are a few examples:
- A typical request is, for example, the adjustment of the display brightness or the connection (pins or flex cable) and, in the case of monochrome displays, the color scheme including lighting (also RGB).
- “Daily bread” is also the requirement for an individual touch panel with a front screen and special print using PCAP technology or resistive technology.
- Does the application require a completely new design in terms of dimensions, resolution or interface? This requires a more detailed specification, which can also be based on a standard display to minimize the effort. In this case, the large range of displays in stock at DV can help with initial tests on the way to the special version.
- For extreme requirements, such as an operating temperature range of up to 100°C, intensive communication and the development of various proposals as well as a deeper insight into the complete application will help. There may also be options for cooling or a different positioning of the display or, ultimately, the use of special materials, possibly at the expense of the expected service life.
